Oktapodi

Once there was a man that worked at restaurant. He wanted an octopus to cook. The female got taken away. The male couldn’t handle it. He imagined what was going to happen. He jumped out of the tank and chased the truck. When he got to the truck, he began a dangerous battle. Then got her back and they lived everly ever after.

The octopus were in love. It was true love! My favourite part of the film was when you though they were happy, and then suddenly a bird cam and took the male octopus.


At the end the man and his truck fell into the water. I am really excited that we wrote about this!

School Camp

On Wednesday morning last week the year five and six started there exciting camp.

On the the first day Respectroincs went kayaking.  I tripped and my toe nail came off, "Ouch!"I said. Some of my friends did not go kayaking because of me. I asked Mr Burt If I could still go kayaking, he replyed and said "Yes". I became happy.

I felt scared because it was the first time I was at camp. I was sleeping with Byron and Peh So. My Mum kept on coming every night, but I didn’t care. We were lucky because my mum gave us a lolly pop, Byron and Peh So saved theres for Swimarama. It was so cold and damp in the tent, but I had fun.

We said a prayer before we went to sleep. When it was time for bed, Byron kept talking and talking until we fell asleep.  In my tent I heard people snoring I did not know who it was out of Byron and Peh So, but I thought it was Byron. I could not sleep well so I woke up at 4:00 in the morning. It was still dark, so I munched on food in our tent. On the last night Byron could not stop snoring. It was his second night here and he was still snoring!

At the end I felt very happy that it was the last day because it was so cold in our tents. I am used to being warm at home, but still I had fun! My favourite activity was cooking and eating food.

Blindfold Experience

The first time I went I got injured by jumping in the wrong place. I thought I was going to go again but I got injured so I was limping to the end. My friends came and helped me, they co-operated together well when I was Leaning to the wall. 

I thought everyone had fun some people were injured too, but not as injured as I was. Room 14  were there, it was on Monday. We did it at the hall, we had a fun time. I was going to go again but I didn’t, I was sad but I was okay siting there watching them play. I got looked after by my friend some of my friends didn’t go because they were taking care of me. 

When I fell  on the floor I missed the mat and got the floor. I had an ice pack on my foot it was so cold that I could not handle, but I did handle it by holding my energy. Everyone had fun, some people took videos I hid my face from the video camera. 


At the end some of my friends came and said "do you need help?" I said back "it’s allright I’m okay" so I came limping back to class.

Paragraph Burger

To make a great paragraph you need many things.
Did you know a burger helps you make three or more sentences? it helps with your writing.
Every time you write a paragraph you need to use an introduction,sentences and a conclusion, that makes a paragraph.
A paragraph needs  to have simple sentences and also complex sentences.

My favourite part was when scruffy said ‘nec minute.
My favourite characters were Scruffy, Piri Wepu  Emmy, and Wiremu .
